I should introduce myself, my business, my goals, and my reason for building this Web site. i won't bore you with a dumb story i promise... so listen up. ever since i was young i knew i wanted to do something good with my life. i looked at my close frends and family members making mistakes. going to jail, dying, or not doing anything with their lives. i made a vow to myself that i'd be different and make something out of my life. we all have dreams and i'm living mine. i decided to use my gift for music as a way out. so instead of runnin' the streets i was making music. making negative situations positive. my goals are just like yours and everyone elses, to do something good with my life. i decided to form an independent label back in 99 called "anonymuz records". i formed a group called "AR". we recorded a few albums and back then i was workin on some small shit. like a karoke machine, a boomb box, and a playschool microphone. we thought we was the shit though. we performed in countless talent shows and show cases til' i realized that we'd out grown that. it was time for the next level. at the time i was thinking about quitting rap for a while and focusing on my beats. i was getting discouraged because i had all this talent but i was broke as fuck. i worked harder and harder on my beats til' i got that signature sound. i'm not going to get religious on you but i was a person who never went to church and never prayed. my family told me to pray on it and i will get what i want. i started to pray. i thanked god for the talents he'd given me but could he also bless me with making this a career. shortly after that, i get a call from a person in the music industry who said they heard my suff and they liked it. he asked me to come to his studio for a talk and the rest is history. i went from selling beats for to a few thousand dollars. it's a beautiful thing man. yeah i know i bored ya'll with the novel but that's what defines me. |
